Wineries & Breweries

If history isn’t really your speed, there’s plenty of less historic options to suit your fancy. The Piedmont is home to many breweries and wineries. You can walk the endless rows of grapes in the vineyards, learn the science of beer making in the brew room, or cruise the streets in a guided Brew Peddlers tour!

Outdoors

Many people enjoy exploring the wilderness alone, but a guided experience can show you a side of the outdoors you’ve never seen before. You can learn new species of plants in one of the botanical gardens, take a guided paddle trip down a river, or even ditch the ground altogether and explore the skies in a balloon tour
