This trail can be accessed only via Tory&#8217;s Den Trail. Parking is available on Charlie Young Road (horse trailers allowed). The trailhead for Ruben Mountain Trail is located about 1 mile from the parking lot along Tory&#8217;s Den Trail. The Rueben Mountain Trail is a 2.9-miles, one-way trail. Traveling the entire trail from the parking lot, around the loop, and back is about 5.5 miles.</p>

<p>Cook&#8217;s Wall Trail in Hanging Rock State Park offers sweeping views of the south and west, with Sauratown and Pilot Mountains visible in the distance. The trails eventually split up at a fork, and Cook&#8217;s Wall Trail continues on the right. Cook&#8217;s Wall is open to climbers with a permit. Hikers and climbers should be mindful of sharing the trail.</p>
