Tobaccoville Park is a good place for a picnic, or a family reunion. The children’s area is completely fenced in and the shady picnic shelter has a kitchen and adjacent bathrooms. The park also features a 1/3 mile walking trail, a softball field, and a large, open recreational field.Additional projects completed in the park include tennis and basketball courts, several arbors with swings, 2 horseshoe pits, an upper gravel parking lot, a gazebo, a vending building, and extensive plantings of trees and shrubs each year as dictated by a master planting plan.

A full-service, family owned and operated, boarding stable for both show and and trail horses. They offer riding lessons and summer camps. The facility includes 73 beautiful country acres, just a few miles from both Pilot Mountain and the Yadkin Island Park. The grounds include a large riding ring, a round pen, an additional covered riding ring & approximately 30 acres of beautiful, wooded trails with varying terrain. There is also a separate riding trail that follows the full perimeter of the 73 acres. The stables have a covered pavilion complete with picnic tables, a grill, playground area with swings, a slide & horseshoe pitching area.
