The Yadkin River Park is centered around the historical Wil-Cox Bridge. The park has hiking and biking trails, dog park, and picnic area. The park marks the beginning of High Rock Lake. There are two access points to the Yadkin River: one concrete boat ramp for larger boats and one hand carry natural slope for smaller kayaks and canoes. (Formerly known as the York Hill Access.) In September 2024, Davidson County Parks & Rec cut the ribbon on the newest phase of the park made possible by a grant from the Parks and Recreation Trust Fund. The new phase adds trail extensions, a playground, a new picnic area, and a natural area.
