Shadow Springs was established 2005 on 4 acres of old tobacco land. Today, the vineyard spans nearly eleven acres of various red and white grapes with plenty of room for further expansion. Their tasting room opened in 2008 with the first vintage of Shadow Springs wines. In 2011 they purchased the old Buck Shoals Vineyard & Winery from the Crater family, situated just half a mile down the road from Shadow Springs, expanded their wine operations with both a new tasting room and a giant winery complete with one of North Carolina’s first legal liquor stills. After some renovations, Windsor Run Cellars was born, and they had a 15,000 square foot winemaking facility ready to take on new clients. Today this building serves Brandon Hills Vineyard, Divine Llama Vineyards, Medaloni Cellars, Point Lookout Vineyards, and Roaring River Vineyards in addition to Shadow Springs and Windsor Run

Cellar 4201 was established in 2003 and they planted one acre of Merlot grapes. In 2204 they added three 3 more acres and planted Cabernet, Sauvignon, Sangiovese and more Chardonnay. They focus on producing quality fruit through extensive pruning, and plan to remain limited-case production vineyards with the majority of sales of their hand-crafted wines. Sangiovese is currently their signature wine.

Dobbins Creek Vineyards and German style tasting room is set against the gorgeous Swan Creek and Brushy Mountains. Taste wine at their bar that was made from a 100 year old wild cherry harvested on the property. Come out and enjoy the Dobbins Creek experience and taste their award winning wines. Wines include Riesling, Chardonnay, Merlot, Hemric Mountain Red & Hemric Mountain Blush.

20-acre agri-tourism complex features corn maze, hay bales maze, hayrides, horse drawn wagon rides, delicious food and fun for the entire family.

The Windsor Run Cellars operation sits on is land that has been farmed for generations. Over the years the vines thrived in the fertile tobacco land. The winery was built in 2006 with the tasting room following in 2007. Then a distillery was added in 2008 to make brandy and fortified their own wine. At that time they owned the second “legal” distillery in the state.

Yadkin Valley Wine Company is a custom crush and wine production (20,000 – case) facility and wine-testing laboratory in the Yadkin Valley AVA and Swan Creek AVA. They are on property owned by Laurel Gray Vineyards.
