Fiddlin’ Fish is the brew-child of Stuart Barnhart of Winston-Salem and his cousin David Ashe of Richmond. The name Fiddlin’ Fish comes from the cousins’ childhood summers in the Blue Ridge Mountains, hiking, fishing and listening to great music. When they decided to open a brewery, they wanted it to be a reflection of what they love. The brewery, on Trade Street, has a 15-barrel brewhouse producing traditional styles as well as an ever-changing cast of seasonal beers and one-offs. The give tours of their brewery and an outside covered patio.
